Whole Foods Customer Not Home Before The Selected Hour Delivery Window. I Was Running 30-35 Mins Ahead Of Schedule Of What The Delivery Window Said.

For the second time in a month the customer called me or amazon support called and asked if I could deliver at the specific time in the delivery window hours and not before. The customer was not home and didn’t want groceries sitting out for a long period of time. I’m in south florida very hot. Problem is I’m not sure how these times are selected. Amazon probably wants to look good so if we deliver early customer happy but not in this case… I was making good time and making early deliveries to the other customers now I had to deliver to this customer last and make my route 20-25 mins longer than it would have been because of it. Is this normal do you always answer an unknown number or amazon support when your delivering.? btw this was an instant offer. Did i do the right thing even if it made my shift longer
