Tonight I had a rural route with 14 deliveries. I had to get on the other side of the railroad tracks but a train was sitting on the tracks and no way around. As I was trying to look up alternatives (with terrible cell service) to get around the train a truck pulls up next to me and says it will be a while the train hit a Amazon truck. He pointed me in the general direction I needed to go and sure enough a DSP truck had been hit by the train on these backroads. Everyone was ok. I can’t believe I forgot to snap a photo. I did left my wife know that an Amazon drive was hit by a train in that area, but wasn’t me.
Having to go around and another wreck caused me to use the entire time block on 14 packages. Better than the other driver.
