Our DSP just got rural routes again and I’ve been mainly doing them in TX btw, and today I used a plain white van cus we were busy today and didn’t have anymore vans and one of my first stops a guy comes out and angrily says “why are you in an unmarked van” and it just made me think shit he’s right, I’m pulling into all these peoples long driveways on their private property in an unmarked van and it just really sketched me out the rest of the day, there was a stop later where a sign said no trespassing or you will be shot. So I didn’t even go in their and just didn’t deliver to them. I kinda relaxed later in the day where I went more populated areas but how do you rural guys navigate these situations? Any tips or useful advice I’d love to hear it.
