Is it possible to pick up a same day route and deliver the packages after the block ends, assuming they are delivered before the itinerary says they are due?

I see a lot of morning blocks that I can’t take because I have to drop off my kids to school in the middle of them. But then I can’t find blocks after drop-off that end in time for me to pick my kids up, buffering in travel time. I used to do Fresh routes but they are practically impossible to get now.

So let’s say I took a 5:15am-10:15am route. I go to the VOR3 warehouse, pick up my packages, and head home. Do school drop off and then head out to deliver the packages. It’s likely that I’ll finish after the block time, but chances are they won’t be due until later so none of them will be considered late.

Is this even feasible?
