This is just a comment/rant. I deliver to tons of businesses. In many buildings they post notes saying things like “FedEx/UPS please deliver to the back”. We are neither, so I go in with my packages in hand, and the security dude flags me down, asking why I can’t read. I tell them what the note says, Amazon is not mentioned, and neither is DHL or OnTrac, two other popular delivery companies here in my area. I show them my best and ask them back, now who is the one who can’t read? They reply, I don’t care, go around the back…
Customers do too. Many of them leave notes on their doors saying things like “FedEx/UPS please leave my package behind the gate on the left”. I leave it at their door because they didn’t say Amazon.
How long have there been Amazon vans and trucks? How many thousands of times has everyone seen delivery people with Amazon vests? And lots and lots of these customers and businesses get shit delivered constantly from us! Do they think Amazon means UPS?
Why do people think only FedEx and UPS exist?
Thanks for reading.
