What gets turkeys to back the fuck off quick?

Laugh all you want but they’re mean and I’m not about to get clawed up by a bunch of birds. It’s not a rural area, and they show up randomly throughout my whole route. I’ll skip a stop and get it later if I pull up and see a lot of them ( no lie there were 15 in front of a single house yesterday) but sometimes I’ll be going back to my van and they come out of no where. Like 90% of the time they have no interest in me but when they decide we have problems they don’t lay off.
