I’ve encountered all the crazies out there you all are complaining about and posting such hateful comments about. Publically shaming them and making jokes at their expense.

Sadly, when I’d encounter these crazies I used to just laugh to myself and think “what a chump,” then brush it off. Now though, I sorta feel validated when coming here and reading the posts. I noticed after awhile I started getting spiteful and the “what a chump” feelings I got started morphing into “what a dick”. I thought about posting responses about my “chumps.” Fortunately it NEVER ONCE got to the point that I wouldn’t follow the customer’s instructions or worse return their package to the warehouse as “customer refused.” Those of you who do this (and worse) shouldn’t be working with the public. I don’t care that Amazon makes billions, the company that makes whatever product youre delivering is also effected, as well as the employees that work for that company… Some of those employees probably have families and are struggling. It’s not just Amazon you’re flipping your finger to.

Every single post or response contains some joke or nasty comment about your job or Amazon or the customer… At first I found solace that I wasn’t alone but I noticed I started feeling resentful instead of just brushing things off. I guess that’s how groups are created. Then there was the post where people left treats in a gift basket specifically for delivery people, and I started feeling good again…so many pictures … How come I’ve never seen one of these baskets of treats? Oh yeah cuz I’m in LA and someone woulda stole them by now (brush it off, brush it off). But then started the nasty comments about what was included in the basket (or not included.) And I just had to pull myself away from the post before I became a part of the herd.

Guess what I’m trying to say and the moral of my post… Your negativity is felt. Don’t minimize the power of words. It’s not that bad out there, learn to work together not further devide us… I’m prepared for the hate replys, but I felt I needed to get this off my chest.
