I was delivering this morning to a wealthy family that live in a big Ranch (gated neighborhood). As soon as I arrived at the actual house, they had the front gate opened, and the front door was like ~400 feet away from the front gate. I got off my car and placed the package at the front door and saw the front door was wide open. I stepped back to take a picture of the package and all of a sudden 2 Pomeranian dogs followed by 2 other german shepherds jumped at me and circled me while barking like they were trained. I kept my focus on the 2 german shepherds and one of the Pomeranian bit my calf from behind. It took close to 2 minutes of me standing still there before the owner came down to calm his dogs. He actually didn’t apologize for what happened and told me they don’t bit. I rant on him and told him that I was actually bit by one of those dogs. Base point is, why would a customer leave the door open when they literally receive a notification that a delivery person is coming soon? Also, why is they tend to showcase their dogs as a non-vicious animals when they literally breed them in numbers just to protect them and their property?
