High Rise With One Working Elevator

I had to deliver in a high rise for the elderly and all packages had to be delivered to the apartment door.

One elevator broke and one working.

A former delivery person for meals on wheels gave me a tip in the elevator.

Go to the highest floor I have a delivery on. Start there and take the stairs down as I deliver. It took five minutes just to get the elevator and another few minutes to get to the highest floor. Saved me a lot of time.

I know it’s a rare situation but I hope this helps someone.
