So this past weekend, I was on my 4 am block when I came across a delivery for an apartment. The notes gave me an access code, but it was for the walk in gate only. Me, being the lazy person I am, said screw that let me drive into the place and get closer. The gate was wide open so I figured it wasn’t either broken or I just caught someone leaving. Once I delivered I tried to leave and the damn gate didn’t have a sensor to open from the inside. So it was one of those gates that you need a remote to open it. I waited 5 mins before I said screw it and called the police and told them I was being held against me will. ( An exaggeration, I know, but I thought it might expedite them sending someone to help). 20 mins later, a cop shows up and rescues me by using his key to manually open the gate. The gate only had the access panel on the inside tho, so he had to toss me the keys to open it. To make matters even funnier, while I was delivering my package, another flex driver left it on the outside gate of the apartment complex. I wonder if they knew not to go in 😂. Anyways, stay safe out there guys and call your local pd for any help you may need out there.
