I just started Amazon Flex and every route I have been assigned to so far have all been rural areas where homes have Confederate flags and signs with ignorant messages in their yards (Read between the lines). I don’t feel comfortable delivering to these areas for obvious reasons that I’m sure you can put 2 and 2 together. I have already been accused of not being associated with Amazon when attempting to delivering packages even with a vest and I’m afraid it may get worse if I come across the wrong person.

Is there anything I can do without being penalized for not wanting these specific routes for my own safety?
