Even if the management team at the time that you got hired have good intentions and plan on treating you well, that can all change in an instant. Get injured, get sick, mess up, fail to report something, or have pain affecting your job, you will absolutely be on the chopping block if they can figure out a legal way to do it.
Document everything. Intentions can change, but what documentation you have will not. And if you don’t document, they will spin their own story where you leave gaps when they feel the need.
You can like your DSP, you can even be on friendly terms with them, and expect them to do the right thing. But never trust them.
This obviously goes for Amazon too.
