I feel like Amazon a trillion dollar company that has such strict rules on wanting you to wear vest at load out and on route who also want you to have black shorts and pants with the Amazon collar shirt should freaking provide the uniforms. I had 1 vest given to me when I started. And didn’t get a shirt till 3 months later. I actually got a warning thrown at me for not being in uniform under the awning. And I to explain I never got a shirt. I understand turn around is huge people don’t stay so they don’t wanna give you all the stuff up front. But what about when you have been there over a year and can’t get a new vest. Idk if they make are DSPs buy all items and maybe that’s why but damn Like….. it’s ridiculous I saw a post on here about how some drivers need to wash there uniforms more and I agree but we shouldn’t have to worry about doing laundry for the same shirt every day!! I think we should have 3-4 sets of shirts and shorts pants as well after are 6 months mark. It blows my mind they want us to wear these items and don’t provide them. I personally due feel safer when wearing my uniform stuff than personal clothing especially when it gets dark. So I agree with this safety standard but dang are clothes get dirty handling dirty boxes and walking 10,000 steps a day.
