If You RTS A Package That Wasn’t On Your Itinerary, Do Warehouse Employees At RTS Report The Package As Out Of Delivery Time?

And does it count against you?

My DSP has been telling us every day to never mark a package as “delivery will be too late”. They’ve been really adamant about it. Yesterday I had 1 package not on my itinerary, and I’m sorry but I stopped picking them up once my routes started being 190+ a day. I returned it to the station and got a text from my boss saying that I brought a package back because it would be too late. I explained that it was an extra package and I didn’t pick it up and he said “okay” and nothing came of it. Just curious if anyone knows the process in that situation.
