My fellow Flexers.
Calm your farm on the OTP FUD! We have had it for a little while now because Amazon was using us as guinea pigs with the system, and it’s really not that bad.
They are very rare and my experiences have ranged from the customers (bless their souls) already having the code ready to read out when I got to their door to a lady having to phone the recipient who was overseas at the time.
None of my OTP stops have been particularly problematic, and if the customer has trouble finding the code there is a secondary option where all you have to do is have the customer verify the last 2 digits of their phone number.
For the late night/early morning routes it will suck, but we must have faith that they will soon implement a preventative measure for any OTP deliveries being included in those routes.
Besides that, don’t stress, it’s a minor inconvenience and in the ~month we’ve been trialling it I’ve had under 10 OTP deliveries.
