I had a front door delivery tonight, it was a fenced in house with no dog warnings. I whistled at the fence, nothing. I get to the door, take the picture, as I swiped to finish 3 chihuahuas came running at me. One bit me immediately and I jumped around to avoid the other ones. The owners came out and grabbed them all while I was running back to the van. I asked to see the vaccination records and they gave me old ones and said the recent ones were destroyed in a flood. I then called the police and made a police report and the officer straight up said they were on the property doing their job. It broke skin and I’m pretty sure I could have pressed charges right? The owners said other delivery drivers usually use the other door but it said front door delivery. My dispatcher had no clue if I could go to urgent care without the worry of a bill. Anyone have any experience with this?
