So today was my first driving/ride along. I drove. But before I started at the warehouse a driver came in his car and was complaint to my DSP that this was the second day he was cutoff and told to go home cause there’s enough staff… I need hours, it’s an emergency at this point I need money VERY urgently. The guy I was with told me I’d probably begin my first shift in a week or 2. Which is insane since it’s been 2 weeks already that’s a month of no income. What should I do? I’m just scared I won’t be getting hours based on that dude who was sent home. He wasn’t happy. Why hire more ppl if you don’t need them :/ I was promised hours.
