Today my route consisted of a well off town with lots of high end apartments all requiring codes to get in. About half of my packages didn’t have codes, and if there was a call box none of the customers answered. I called every single one of them, only one customer answered. I told her I had her Amazon package and that I was a bit late, but that I couldn’t get trough the door because it needed a code. With sass in her voice she asked “what does that mean?”. I told her I needed access to her building and she said she didn’t understand, just hung up on me. Today was the worst route. I ended up having to go back and drop some packages off because I didn’t want to leave them in the street. I waited for most for a couple mins to try and contact the customer or see if anyone would let me in, but it took so much time. Today blew. Anyway, rant over.
