Doorman/security guy at big giant high rise: “go around the construction in the corridor here and into this one specific elevator out of 20 and go down to shipping and receiving.” I walk around, step into the elevator. Doors close and it starts going up. All 60 floors. Doors open and some construction guys get in. Then they tell me you need a pass badge to work the elevator (apparently they had just called it up as I stepped into it) Then one of them punches in the floor for receiving. I get down there, go to receiving “oh we can’t take those type of packages here. You need an elevator operator to take you up to the proper office floor.” Which I did, but by then I was wanting to go back to the 60th floor and jump off. This all took me like 10 minutes and I never want to go downtown again.
