Door Code Issues With Deliveries

I live in an apartment with a long door code that you need to type a star in after the numbers- like 123456*

Since I’ve moved here, probably one third of delivery drivers have issues with the door code. I’ll get a call saying they can’t get in or the code I gave them is wrong. I’ve updated the door code/text in my delivery instructions and have checked that it is correct multiple times. I’ve also listed in the delivery instructions that * needs to be entered after the numbers for the code to work.

Is there anything else I can do to fix these issues with deliveries? Or is this likely a case of some drivers not reading directions?
