Just Finished My First Ride Along Route Yesterday. Feeling Intimated, But Willing About The Job In General. Just Have A Couple Questions:

So from what I understand and have been reading, eventually the normal stop count will be somewhere between 140-180. If going at a steady pace, one should be able to finish their shift in 9 hours without being rescued. If you really step on the gas pedal and don’t take any breaks, you could probably finish in 7 hours but will probably asked to help out. Does this seem accurate?

Also, is anyone here able to complete their route in 8-9 hours at a comfortable pace while also able to take all their breaks?

My main question is this: What is the number one thing that slows people down on their route? Is it being disorganized and adding an extra 1-2 minutes on every stop by looking for the package? Or is it the backing up, turning around, finding a spot to stop, and just the general logistics of driving a van? What pro tip would you give someone to lower the time on these things?
