I’ve done the stop before but forgot about the dogs. Got out and looked under the first truck and coast was clear so walked to the front door and there were 2 German Shepards and a Heeler under the truck parked by the door. They came at me. I screamed, dropped package and as I was running to the van a larger dog came from the back yard full speed and chased into the drive side. Had to kick him in the face with both feet several times as he was trying to bite my ankles. Tried to nip me through the window too. Currently on break at a gas station with 20 stops left with a stomach ache since the adrenaline has worn down. I love dogs and this my first time having to kick a dog in my life let alone this job. Still coming down from the near mauling. Not scared or nun ANYMORE but holding back frustration tears lol. But hey….back to work !
