I’ve never heard of such bullshit. I’ve worked many jobs and the ones that made you take lunch it had to be before your 6th hour of work in accordance with NYS law. I’ve worked private and government jobs and it was the same thing at each job 6 hours in.

Now all the sudden dsp says we have to take lunch 2 hours after start of shift. The break option comes up about every 2 hours but you can skip break and keep working. They say it’s law and it’s for our safety. So by the time you clock in load up and drive to delivery area your lucky if you got 25 stops done before you have to stop working.

I like to stop for lunch half way into route so I can recharge and have energy to finish the shift. Now we’re expected to complete the usual bullshit routes we all get with only 2 – 15 minute breaks to get us through. Makes a lot of sense Amazon especially with the heat.
