The way flex has been, it’s definitely not fun at all. Me n my bf decided to do it together because he has a chronic migraines and has to get surgeries every 3-6 months so full time jobs likes to play with him and his money , and I had a surgery that took me out of my job. So we decided to do flex while we work on creating our own business. We was using the job to fund and pay bills. But you really can’t wholeheartedly depend on it. Especially in my area where the whole damn state is doing it. I got into a disagreement with one of the workers at one of the fresh online stations because he was being extremely rude and then he unassigned me to a order. Now everytime I go there they always put me in the city where I’m most likely not going to get tips and get ppl that have ebt. ( not wrong with ebt but Ik they aren’t going to tip) so it stresses us out. Then we go to deliver packages and we always get sent out far. It’s stressful to the point idgaf about surges because we barely get them , and we only work 3hr 30 mins – 3 hr shifts. At least we know we either staying close in the area with 20-30 packages or far out with 10-13 packages. I don’t see me self doing this job for long. But shoutout to the people that do this full time and got a car or a house with this because Ik it was stressful! You guys are awesome! Keep working hard! Don’t let these side gigs take control ! If you don’t feel safe return to the station! Don’t let these customers rule or walk over you. And if you have to kick or punches these dogs DO IT! Because the owner obviously don’t care bout them either.
