Working at the warehouse currently since April. No write ups, never had anyone approach me. that being said was sort of interested to be a driver.
I worked seasonal helper UPS for 2 different years at 2 different locations and even last year still got a call from UPS asking if I would be interested in returning. It’s something I enjoyed doing, now granted I know I was doing a 1 person job with two people but peak season we were getting 250-300 parcels a day.
I just enjoy being outside, i’m starting to miss day light hours. When I do freelancing for media which i’m trying to make my full time job I enjoy the outside parts of it. I’m predicting burn out from the warehouse over night soon and weighing my options.
I know a lot of drivers aren’t happy with their job though or work load and the turn over rate before covid for drivers was 140% Any suggestions any long time employees finding things worth it or a good way to make money while they wait for other things to get going?
