New Hire But Is There A Way To Not Be Assigned To Certain Areas?

New hire but Is there a way to not be assigned to certain areas? every time my route is in an affluent area people stare, question what I’m doing (wearing full uniform and big branded van), some people are genuinely frightened when I walk up to deliver the package to their door… and I can’t deal with the ones who think they own the public road (beeping horn, flicking me off) … like they don’t see I’m trying to drop off packages in a big ass Amazon van.. and it’s a code for every damn gate, building, even elevators. Shits annoying.

Was in the hood for 2 of my routes, chilliest days I’ve had so far. Old ladies telling me to stay hydrated, people helping me find apartments/buildings/houses, came across a candy lady house and was given free snacks

I would 100% prefer to deliver in less affluent areas. Plus I’m from and actually spent time in the less affluent areas I’m delivering in.

This is in South Florida btw … Im not even close to looking like a threat..
